[ When the feed clicks on a blond and very athletic young woman takes up most of the picture, one corner of her lip a little twisted while she tries to explain her feelings. ]

Do you guys always get these kind of strange vibes in this place, or is it just me and the fact that it's my first day. [ Clearly she fails at explaining this. But she's here, and she doesn't plan on leaving in the near future, so she's just going to have to suck it up.

Her smile is more forced, but she's not exactly disappointed or upset though. ]

Hello. [ She begins with a small wave. ] My name's Cassie, I'm a new warden. Uh... Wow, this almost feels like being in school again. [ Getting ready to say stuff about herself most people won't care about or remember. ]

Before coming here I lived in San Fransisco and work usually kept me pretty busy. [ If anyone recognizes her red shirt emblazoned with two "Ws" they might know who she is, and even if they don't, they may recognize it as Wonder Woman's symbol. ] I like archaeology, the color red, pizza, and being a warrior, among other things. And despite these strange vibes, which I'm sure will go away anyway, I am happy to be here. It's new and something different, not really what I'm used to, but I'm sure my time here will be memorable nonetheless.

[ She expects to run into the alternate Superboy, but she doesn't expect it to be in person and jumps at his words, nearly dropping her phone.

Without warning she might have called him Conner before turning around. Thankfully that is not the case. After catching her phone Cassie turns to face him, immediately looking him up and down with a scrutinizing gaze. ]

Yeah? That's me. [ Cassie means to sound every bit as defensive as she does. Even if he's not Prime, she's not taking any chances. ] Can I help you? [ Strange as it may be, she doesn't want to look at his face for longer than a second. ]

[Raises a brow as he watches her look him over in scrutiny. For a second, he almost thinks that this Wonder Girl is the same one he knows from his world. Neither of them are apparently lacking in attitude.]

Not really, I was just surprised to see you. Something tells me you're not the Wonder Girl I know and vice versa.

[demigoddess]

You're not wrong about that. [ Now she's looking at his forehead and playing Steph's words over in her head. It helps her defenses come down a little. ]

Cassie. [ Cassie tells him offering a hand for him to shake. ] Though I guess you already know that. [ Unless her alternate is named Drusilla for real. ]

[Eyes her hand for a moment as the image of her crushing his hand flickers through his mind. So far no one from her world has tried to duke it out, so while it appears that she has some level of contempt from her, he doubts it will manifest itself physically. Reaches out and shakes her hand.]

Yeah, and I'm Superboy. Just Superboy, I'm working on the whole civilian name part. Tim seems to think I'm a David.

[demigoddess]

[ She shrugs, taking her hand back. ] I don't know about David. What else do you have?

I liked the name Kent but going with that would be self defeating. I've considered Nicholas as well.

[demigoddess]

[ She shakes her head, leaning against the railing again, facing him now. ] I'm not so sure about that one either... But it doesn't really matter what I think. Pick what you want. There have to be a few names you like.

No surprise there. [Already knows what name they associate with him. Lightly shrugs his shoulders.] I'll come up with something eventually.

[Folds his arms across his chest and now he's the one observing her.]

Until then, Superboy it is. [ Even if she doesn't exactly like it, she won't be rude to him because of it.

When she meets his gaze, she immediately turns her head. ] Take a picture. [ Like it's only okay if she does the staring. ]

[Snorts.] If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were the Cassie from my world. Neither of you are lacking in attitude.

[demigoddess]

You almost say that like it's a bad thing. [ Attitude can be good. ]

It is when you're on the receiving end of it.

[demigoddess]

Sounds like a personal problem. Maybe you just can't take it. [ She's teasing him. ]

If that's the case then I better remove the Super from my name or else I'll be guilty of false advertising. [Though half the time he doesn't feel all that super.]

I guess "Boy" does have a certain ring to it.

No offense but that's by far the worst name I've had suggested to me.

It's still better than say, Philoctetes. Or even Bob.

Given the three options, my vote would be for Philoctetes. [Has a 'huh' moment as the history if King Philoctetes pops into his head.]

[ And Cassie has no response. She thought this wouldn't be awkward, but she's making it that way.

Thankfully looking to the book in his hands give her a question to keep the conversation hanging on by a thread. ]

What are you reading?

[Looks at the book and then holds it up so she can read it.]

It's a book on Krytpon. I'm not sure exactly what world it's from but it's still an interesting read. I know very little about the Krytpon in my world.

[Quiet for a moment as he contemplates something.]

Can I ask you a question about the Superboy from your world?

[demigoddess]

Sure. [ She is a little curious to see what he wants to know. ]

When he escaped from Cadmus, what sort of things did he do? Did he join Young Justice right away or do other things in the mean time?

[demigoddess]

He did a lot of things, I don't even know all of the details. [ Conner is not one to talk in great length about his past, but she knows all of the important stuff, or at least assumes she does. ] He spent some time in Metropolis and Hawaii, and he also became a favorite of the media.. [ And he loved the attention. ] Conner once described his life to me as continually learning through trial and error.

Why do you ask?

[If the media loved him then he was probably off doing heroic things.]

Trying to figure something out. Do you know why he was created in the first place?

[ Now there's a sore subject. ]

Does it matter? [ It's not who he is. ]
